Josh Dukes is a founding member of the Wasz Dukes Real Estate Team. Josh and his family have lived in the City of Alexandria, Prince William and Fairfax counties since 2001. The Dukes family considers themselves Northern Virginia converts who have fallen in love with the cultural, recreational and social opportunities the greater D.C. area provides. Josh’s close working relationship with Bruce and Sharon Wasz ensures that all clients are treated like people and not like numbers. Judy, Josh’s wife, works with him as Logistical Coordinator for the team. They share 2 daughters that keep them busy. The Dukes family enjoys vacationing together in cabins. Josh is also an accomplished musician and in his “spare time” moonlights as a performer.
In addition to his real estate training, Josh is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and Home Staging Expert® (HSE). He is also a productivity coach for new real estate agents which involves training and mentoring new real estate agents.

Military Relocation Professional – This certification program educates REALTORS® about how to work with U.S. service members, veterans and their families to find housing solutions that best meet their needs while taking advantage of benefits and support that is available. To earn this certification, real estate agents read prepared background information, take a one-day course, attend two webinars (VA Home Purchase Financing and Options, VA Compromise Sale), and must pass an examination with a score of 80 percent or better.
Home Staging Expert ®
This workshop and course helps clear the clutter from homes. Using smart furniture arrangement and thoughtful accessories, it teaches agents to play up a home’s selling points. Home staging can best position a home for quick sale at an optimal price. The certification is earned by completing the curriculum and passing an examination.
